Total(Sum) between 2 dates

Hi,

I am in a bit of a pickle...I need to know the Total figure of the gross
field in my table between 2 dates specified in a query.

I need to know what criteria to put into my query on the gross field (my
system uses short dates, 06 not 2006 if that makes any difference)

The total will be displayed in a form and also in a report

Thank You,

whatever the format dates are displayed in, Access stores them
the same way (as the number of days since 12/31/1899).

To successfully create your query, open the parameters dialog in
the query, and create two parameters: start date, end date, and
assign them both to datatypetype date/time.

or you could type
PARAMETERS [start date] DateTime, [end date] DateTime;
as the first line of the query in SQL view.
The criteria would be Between [Start Date] AND [End Date]

Hello World! I have my sample report here http://photos-554.friendster.com/e1/photos/45/50/27310554/1_371357199l.jpg How to get the total sum of my fields that are not duplicated? The highlighted are examples of my duplicated fields (both lec and lab) but they don't have the same time. I tried Suppress if duplicated under Format Object of the field but still it gives me a total of 19 for Lec (instead of 14) and 4 for lab (instead of...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
