In a recent thread there has been discussion about Data Access Pages. It
has been suggested that they are not permitted on many or most secure sites.
Perhaps, that it is so, although I know of no site that has this
prohibition, and I have uploaded DAPs to various sites and used them
from those sites.
I do not understand why any site manager would prohibit DAPs. To the
best of my knowledge DAPs, as HTM files, are merely hosted on the...

We are connecting to sql server database in the webservices & retrieve the
data
as dataset from the webservices and load it to the aspx pages ,But we find
loading of the aspx pages takes longer time than the pages that retrieve data
directly using cs files.Is it good practise to use the data retrieval in web
services.
Can some help me in this issue.

Hello,
I want to to be able to read line by line the contents (ie the html)
inside some Data Access Pages I have in a Microsoft Access database.
There doesnt seem to be a call I can use in the Access library within VB
..net to allow me to read lines (there is for modules).
On option I thought was to get the file path from the Access DB then
open up and read the using normal file handling calls, however once
again I cant find a property...

I've created a number of .html, pivot tables using Access' Data Page
tools. These work great and by pointing my browser to these files,
users throughout my firm can access these pivot tables. I had assumed
that I could simply publish these pivot tables on the web to outside
users who are configured as active directory users. The .htm pivot
table is linked to a query in Access that is built from a SQL database.

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
