I have several tables formatted as follows:
ITEM #, ITEM DESCRIPTION, PL, JANUARY
ITEM #, ITEM DESCRIPTION, PL, FEBRUARY
And so on… I need to create a final report that merges all of the
information from these tables to form a tabular report reflecting the
information for all items for each month. However, the items in the
item number field are not identical. How can I make my report include
information for an item that does not...

Hi All,
I have set up a simple database to create labels for bottles. I insert a
set number of records into a table and have produced a label report based on
that table. After a bit of tweaking, the labels fit perfectly to the A4
label sheets I have.
The problem I have is that I want to the report to be dynamic. If I purchase
a different style of label, I need to go into the design of the report to
modify widths, heights, column counts,...

Hi,
I am trying to create a table of Query "Metrics"
ie. I have many tables in a database which most of the time just counts
the number of rows in a certain table, or the number of distinct rows
in a table with some condition.
I'm trying to use the MS Access built in report feature to create one
master "metrics report"
where it will just have sample output such as:

I did a search but couldn't find a question similar to mine. I need to count the values in a textbox on a report and have the count subtotal in a group footer. But I need three different counts on the same textbox because there are three possible values and I need a count on each. I can't just do a simple DCount on the table and manually define the criteria because there are many different groups that will need the counts for only that group....

I need some advise on how to best create an Access 2002 report from multiple "total" queries, each which result in 3- 5 values that I need displayed on my report. Most of the queries do simple counts based on 3 different tables. For instance, I need to count the number of new clients enrolled in a program for a given month or year-to-date grouped by 4 different referral sources (based on the start date for the client). Then I need to count...

I am helping a non-profit track their elder clients and care given to
the clients.
The organization would like a report that shows various info on ALL
clients, such as:
# in each town,
# and Percent Male, Female, Smoker,
# in age range
# that use wheelchair or walker.

I have a table with four fields: BlockNo, District, SubDate, Status. I would like to create a report that 1)shows the percent of BlockNo that has a SubDate(IsNotNull) grouped by District and 2) shows the percent of BlockNo with SubDate(IsNotNull) and with Status=Y grouped by District.
I was able to create queries for both of these and count the number of blocks in the query. What I am unable to figure out is how to refer to the TOTAL BlockNo...

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
