We have a simple database which stores employee audit results. Many
audits are done on each employee. I have a table with int_AuditNumber ,
txt_Name, and txt_Score. The txt_Score field shows the result of the
audit and can only be "Correct", or "Error".
I have a corresponding report that summarizes how each empoyee is
doing. It shows employee's name, and calculates (via the count
function) the # of audits with "No Error" for that person, and then
Number of audits with "Error" for that person.
What I need to do is to calculate each employee's error rate. For
example if we've done 20 audits on Joe Smith, and he has only 1 error,
then his error rate is 5%.
In plain language my calulation would say "Count Number of records for
this person which are 'Correct', and divde by the total count for that
person.
Can someone please steer me in the right direction. I'm new to Access
and often confused about whether I should be calculating something in a
query, or if I can do it in a report.

I have a report that's fairly simple, page headers and footers, detail
has a subreport in (can vary in length). The customer wanted a signature
block for them, their client and 3rd party. This was no problem, couple
of boxes and labels in the report footer.

I've implemented Allen Browne's Audit Log and it works quite well
(thanks). However, my form has a series of calculated fields that
fire on the form OnCurrent event. The calculation causes a record to
written to the Audit Log. This means that a log entry is created even
if users are only scrolling through the records.
Is there a way to block a log entry if the only form change is an auto
calculation?
