How to send Email when process is getting delayed

14 New Member
Hi,

My question :
If my process is taking more than 30 mins to complete, then i need to send out email to all the users.

I have two forms, 1 is "Main form" and another is dummy form, dummy form opens in Hidden mode.

In "Main Form" i have some process defined in Form Timer so thats the reason why i have created "Hidden Form", and in Hidden form timer I am calculating time difference.

My problem is when i am running the process from Main form, how to activate my dummy Hidden form inorder to in order to send email to the distrubution list.

I appreciate if you can help me from this problem.

You cannot run two processes at the same time. Any notifications would have to be triggered by the original process. Set up a timer at the start of the process. Check the timer at regular intervals. When time >= 30 minutes then stop process make hidden form visible and do whatever then continue the process.

-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hi! I'm the developer of a Linux ISDN application which uses embedded Python for controlling the communication. It starts several threads (i.e. one for each incoming call and for outgoing faxes) which run Python scripts in embedded Python interpreters which in turn do the real communication stuff. Any incoming data or confirmations of done jobs are sent via Email.

I did a working code with CDONTS on NT4 Now I am testing is on w2k and it looks like objCDONTS.Send is completely ignored. I think is it ignored because it throws no errors, neither does the rest of the code setting objCDONTS=Server.CreateObject("CDONTS.NewMail") and then manipulating its properties. Do I need to somehow set IIS5 to make objCDONTS.Send work?

Server runs another program (ooimpress, open office ppt), and translate the commands from client to a key event, and send it to child process. For example.

My asp script used to be able to send email to an unlimited amount of users. But a couple weeks ago I started getting this error message "transport failed to connect to server". So I increased the smtp connection timeout. Then I started getting an error saying the maximum amount of time for my script to run had been reached. So I increased Sever.ScriptTimeout. Now I'm just getting a generic error message saying my page cannot be...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
