Printing a report on 5"x3" Labels

2 New Member
I have a report which is based on a query with Customers table and Invoiceline Items table. I want to print more than one label if the number of line Items are more than 10. I need to know where to put the page break and how to count the line items.

I need to know how to set the height of report.

The Label sheet is a standard Avery sheet with 1" margin on the top and bottom,
1.75" Left and Right margin. There are 3 labels on each sheet 3" high and 5" wide.

I know label wizard will print only one line.

A step by step explanation will be highly appreciated.

Thanks.

Hi,

Pls communicate the dimensions for only 1 label...

Do just one label...

In the Print setup there is a Column tab. there you can locate the current height and width of your label and correct it...

If you have more than 1 label as width so you need to set up columns...

The size of each label is 5" wide and 3" high and there are 3 label on each sheet. I want to print 10 lines of data from invoice line Item table and if there are more than 10 lines they should print on the next label with the header on the top. It is a report which I am trying to print on the label.

Thanks.

So your report should have to sections...

Invoice Header, or Page header /it's better in your case Page Header where to store your data for the main part of your invoice...

In your detail section put the lines of your invoice...

And the report footer the end part of your invoice...

I've understood that in your sheet you have 3 labels that are one above other not one till other...

So to fit your 10 lines... Create them....

And try when you vizualize the information to see if 10 lines are fited...

The size of your report can be controled by page setup, choosing the colums section.

There is details about width and height of your report...

:)

Many people, including me, like having hard copy books at hand, along with electronic editions. When I first heard of this book several months ago, I pre-ordered a copy. It arrived from Bookpool today. The book is an impressive hard cover, printed in large and very readable type. The first section is the rationale, about 212 pages with its own

Many thanks for those who responded to my question of "putting greek char into C string". In searching for an solution, I noticed that there are more than one version of "Extended ASCII characters"(No. 128 to 255) . e.g., in one version No. 224 is the symbol alpha, in another, it's a "a" with a ` on it... How come? You can see it here: http://www.kturby.com/cables/ascii2.htm

I'm having difficulty printing on a 4"x3" labels . I set the left margin to 0 but it always prints starting from the middle of the label on the X-axis (no matter what the margin settings are.) I should note that I was able to view the label fine in the PrintPreviewDialog. I checked similar posting but it didn't work for me. I have the following code prior of calling the Print(): PaperSize CustomSize = new PaperSize("CustomSize", 400,...

I am just coming to grips with php, Dreamweaver and MySQL and I want to make a facility available for the members of the group I am creating my web site for. I want them to be able to print-out a list of address labels, using standard Avery labels, on their home PC's using the data from my MySQL tables. I am not yet sufficiently au fait with php to manage to code it myself so I wondered if anybody knew of any Dreamweaver extensions, add-ins...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
