Report Bound Object Frame Showing a Form Object?

A2003. I would desperately like to have a similar ole object on a
report object such that when the report is printed, it takes all the
properties of a similar object on the form. In this case, the object on
the form is a chart object that has been manipulated by a user interface
I've developed.

IS it possible to use the source item property of a bound object frame
on the report to pull what is on the form object? If so, how? I see
the help file example for sourceitem property, but I'm not sure how to
get the object on a form: forms.frmG.ctlG raph to the bound object
frame on the bound object frame of the report.

Any help would be much appreciated.

I put the corporate logo on the top of quite a few different reports. It's not huge, but it adds up and grows that application a bit, even before distribution. Anyone know of a way to save the single graphic in a table and insert it into the various reports at runtime? Is it possible to link it with a query? TIA Randy

Hello experts! I hope to tap your vast knowledge of unbound wisdom. Please help this humble squire in his search for knowledge. Product: MS Access 2003 I have a report that basically lists the contents of a dB into somewhat a readable format. What I'm trying to do though is not display a field for any record where said field is blank. ie. record1 has zip field blank, thus on report, record1 doesn't

Thinking I know the answer to this before I ask... Has anyone ever figured out if there's a way (including 3rd party solutions such as Active-X) to embed a report (or an HTML formatted doc) as a subform in a form. What I'm after is being able to achieve the look of variable length (display height) records. Thanks, lq

I am having a frustrating time trying to do a simple insert of a BMP picture into a Bound Object Frame using both VBA and the Insert | Object... dialog. I had a separate post thread going on this and closed it off when I thought I had resolved the problem, but now I am back at square one. So I thought I would start afresh with a new post. Here is the problem... A few months ago, I set up a Bound Object Frame on a form which was tied to...

Hi, I'm having trouble getting control data binding to work. As I understand it, the simplest form of databinding requires three things: 1) A control (say a textbox) on a form or user control, 2) A field or object.member to which you want to bind, 3) A "Binding" object that connects the variable to a property of the control ("Text" for example).

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...
