Hi,
I am looking for script to allow multiple files can be
uploaded/attached in webform ( mostly cgi/perl or php).
But I don't like the multiple input boxes using "<input type="file"
size="40" maxlength="40" name="filename">" html tag. As it will
limit the no. of files can be uploaded(only as many of this boxes I
write in form & doesn't look good in form also).
I am looking for multiple file upload in web form using "select" or

Hi guys,
I'm trying to figure out what bone headed mistake I made on something I
put together. I've got a form (named 'context') that has a variable
number of select-multiple inputs on it. Based on the number of
variables passed through a GET string, I want to multiply the total
number of selected items for each together to see how many possible
combinations the selected items are generating.
The following snippet of code...

What exactly does the ^ operator do? I've seen, for example, that
3^4=7, 3^5=8. but 3^3=0. Is it just adding them together if they are
not equal, and if they are equal, outputs 0, or what? Thanks!

Is there anyway to compare a field with multiple string values using
LIKE?
Here's the statement I have now:
SELECT * FROM list
WHERE email LIKE CONVERT( _utf8 'hotmail@hotmail.com' USING latin1 )
OR email LIKE CONVERT( _utf8 'john@hotmail.com' USING latin1 )";
I know how to do it using the IN operator,
SELECT * FROM list

Mr Leigh Purvis gave me a very clever piece of SQL to accomplish what
is probably an uncommon objective. In it, he uses the EXISTS operator.
I can find no documentation on it in A97 HELP. I would like to read
more about this useful SQL operator. Suggestions?
SELECT CustID, OutType, EXISTS (SELECT CustID FROM tblCorrespondence
AS tblC
WHERE tblC.CustID = tblCorrespondence.CustID AND tblC.OutType = "01")

I'm in the process of writing this program for complex numbers and I
use DevC++. My professor on the other hand compiles on Borland 5.5. So
I ocasionally save and run my work on Borland to see if it caught
anything, it's very picky... Anyway, the code below works on Dev, and
it compiles fine on Borland, but when I run it from borland, there is
no output, no error, it just skips right over the freind ostream call.
HELP! I'm new to this...

Good evening all,
I'm a relatively new to javascript, but I've been working with
ColdFusion and PHP for years so I'm not necessarily ignorant, just
stuck and frustrated. Using ColdFusion I'm using an include to pull in
form elements (text fields, checkboxes, etc...) multiple times on a
single page.
The included page does not have a form tag of it's own, but the root
page has uniquely named forms for validation. Imagine it like this:

Hi,
I tried to make delete operator private for my class. Strangely it is
giving me error if I compile that code in VC++.NET. But it compiles
successfully on VC++6.o. Can anybody give me inputs about it. I wanted
that on my class delete should not work. Object pointer should be
deleted using my function only which is taking care of reference count
for particular class.
Thanx in advance for your inputs.

Is volatile necessary anymore? I have a two-thread piece of code I've been
testing to figure out what volatile does (fairly simple code, uses
pthreads). I have an update thread (variables passed as volatile) and a
print thread (one variable volatile, the other, not). There is no difference
in the behavior of the volatile and nonvolatile thread.
I'm compiling this with gcc, using the -O2 and -pthreads flags.
The sudocode is at the end....

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...
