Refresh Form Bound table in VBA help

Hi
Background info:
I am running Access 2000
I have a form bound to a blank table
When a user clicks a button the form opens in datasheet view
User enters data into form and closes form
User clicks button which then creates an inner join between form bound
table and master table and updates records in master table where values

are equal to form bound table
My problem is that when the form is closed Access does not recognise
that there is data in the bound table, I have tried refreshing the
tabledef to no avail

Can anyone help?
Regards
Kay

Are you sure the data is still in the table after closing the form ??
Check: Can you see the records when opening the table??

If you can see them, Access can also ....
I guess 'something else' is wrong.

You lost me at "Background info:"

1. Why is the table blank? Is it some sort of temporary data container
that is populated by the form you mention, then has its data
transferred elsewhere, and finally all records deleted?

2. What's up with the dynamic relationship settings? Why not just
define the relationship as a left or right to achieve what you need and
skip the coding of the relationships?

Somehow the data in that table is getting deleted or the update to the
underlying table is never happening. It's possible that Access
encounters an error when the form is closed and never saves the data in
the modified record.

More details, please...

Hi Arno, Jamey
That is correct the table is a temporary one (used as temp mapping
table) to update Master table
I think you guys are right... must be some action connected to the form
event
I will take a look
Thanks
Kay

Hi Team this may be a newbie question. I have searched the discussions before posting: I'd like to re-use a form instance to edit record details. I don't always get what I want when I invoke the following Me!MySubFormControl.Refresh from code running in the main form. Am I doing something wrong here? Hi all, I'm having a weird time with a call to the Refresh() method of a DataGridView. I have a VB.NET 2005 Windows application with a main form and a "worker" thread.
