Presenting queries results

I have a about 15 different numbers (which are the result of 15 query
calculations (queries on different tables)) which I want to present in a
report. What would be the easiest way to get those values from the query
into one report? I don't seem to be able to base a report on more than one
query. I'm rather new to Access and I have no VB experience so I hope it can
be done without it.
Thanks,
john

are the queries radically different? Or are only the filters
different? What kinds of calculations are you doing? The information
you have provided is not enough to suggest a solution. Are you
querying the same tables each time?

Is there basically only one answer/record resulting from each of the
Queries?

I have never tried this with so many quieries, but if there is only one
record resulting from each query then simply drop all of the queries
onto a single 16th query and select the numbers you want.

Dirty I am sure, but it may work.

Files do not have to be related for the query builder to allow you to
see them in the result.

Basically we need more information.

All queries count the number of records for certain criteria. The queries
have only one number as a result. Some of the queries are based on one
table, other on 2 or more linked tables.
I fiddled with basing one overall query on other unrelated queries and in
fact that works, even with queries based on more than one table. Amazing!
Now I can create my pyramid-like report which starts with the total number
of my main entity and beneath it showing other group counts, and group
counts on those group counts....etc.. .
Thanks guys.

I've got a question/request for the SQL gurus. I'm building a model of bandwidth demand in MS Access and want to get aggregated results for demand at each PCP in each time period. The two queries below are used to count the number of households of each Socio-Economic Type (each postcode has been allocated an SE-Type), and use that to count the number of connections requiring a bandwidth less than 512 that will be required at the PCP in...

Hi First up, I am using MS Access 2002. I have a database which records analyst rating changes for a list of companies on a daily basis. Unfortunately, the database has been set up (by my predecessor, I hasten to add) so that each day it creates a copy of the record for each company, changes the date to today's date, and prompts the user for any changes of ratings on that day. The resulting data table grows by approx 600 records per...

There's likely not a simple answer for this, I know, but, I thought I'd try anyways... Background.. I've been racking my brain with some queries that I thought were straightforward, but have been giving me errors, etc.. and am wondering if I shouldn't be looking more towards using VBA. I have used it in the past to do more complex stuff, but I would consider myself just a little above a newbie in that department, since I seem to have...

Hi. I am trying to select data from two separate MySQL tables, where I cannot use join, but when I put the two select queries into a single query, I get an error telling me to check my syntax. Both of the queries work fine when I use them to query the MySQL server directly. My guess is that the MySQL extension only expects a single resource back from the database, but get's several, or that it just checks the statement first, and decides...

I am new to Access and need some help building a report. I have looked through previous posts on reports but none of them seem to answer my question completely. I am using Access 2003 and I have a database with one table. I have built ten different queries to organize run calculations on the records in the table. The problem is that the queries don't all access the same columns nor do they all return the same number of rows and columns in...

Greetings, Introduction This week we start building Query objects. A query can retrieve portions of text from a Library. I don't want users to build queries by themselves, because users make mistakes. Instead, the Library hands out queries to the user given a simple query String. This is how the library does it:

Hello all, So I'm knee deep in this import utility program, and am coming up with all sorts of "gotcha's!". 1st off. On a "Find Duplicates Query", does anyone have a good solution for renaming the duplicate records? My thinking was to take the results of the duplicate query, and somehow have it number each line where there is a duplicate (tried a groups query, but "count" won't work), then do an update query to change the duplicate to...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
