Subform limit while using pages

7 New Member
hi:

Is there a limit the to the number of subforms and pages that can be used on any one form? On several systems that I use, we have 5 to 7 pages( or tabs). We use subforms on those pages. What has happened is when trying to load the main form, it seems to take forever for the data to appear. I am assuming that the problem is linking the forms to the tables, but waiting over 5 minutes for a very small database (largest table contains 127 records right now) seems unreasonable.

Does anyone have experiences loading forms with pages and subforms. (I do not have any pages on the subforms)

I would like to be able to place a command button on a primary (parent) form that opens up a subform. I want to use this subform to search for or limit the recordset of data in the primary form. The database is setup as follows: the primary form is named "TestDataCleanup" which is based on a table named "Test_Results". This primary form has multiple subforms associated with it, including "Names_Display" and "SiteAddresses_Display". The...

I know this has been discussed, but I can't find a resolution. I have a subform on a form. The table with the data for the main form has 15,000 records. I am opening and then setting recordsource so as to only pull 1 record. The table where the subform data comes from has 130,000 records. There is a parent/child link. Indexed on those fields. I have set the datasource to the table, SQL statements and a number of different queries...

I am using the following code in my TabControl to manage subform loads. The code assigns the subForms SourceObject. - Do I also need code to DeAssign the SourceObject when leaving the Tab, I'm thinking the Table will stay open otherwise ??? - Do I also need to use code to Assign the Child&Master Links, or can I just type the names into the subForms Control Property and just depend on the SourceObject to link to Table???

Within the subform there is a list of products to choose from. I want to limit the list of products in the drop down list to those supplied by the supplier number keyed in the main form. Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
