Question on Variable in Access

12 New Member
In MS Access 2000,
I created several forms because I am not familiar in GUI setting.
As I created the forms, such that I can input some data <---I call this as form A
Then I search the result from the database according to my data in formA.
However, I want to reuse the result search in formA by a modifying data form <--I call ths as formB

The question is :
How can I share the variable such as recordset, search result.....in 2 different form?

You can declare a variable in a module like this:

1 . You create a module
2. You type:

Global my_variable1 AS recordset
Global my_variable2 as string

And you can share and use those variables in all the project!

I'm trying to create a structure of three pointers to doubles. For which I have: typedef struct { double *lst_t, *lst_vc, *lst_ic; } last_values; I then need to allocate space for last_values as well as assign the value of a pointer to the assigned space. Which I think I'm doing by using:

I've asked this question to some developers that are much more experienced than I, and gotten different answers --- and I can't find anything about it in the documentation. Dim vs. Private as a variable declaration What is the difference between the two (I strongly suspect there is none)

I am using VS2003 and connecting to MS Access database. When using a connection pooling (every time I open the OLEDBCONNECTION I use the exact matching connection string), 1. how can I know how many connection has been used ? 2. If the maximum pool size has been reached, what happens when I call the method Open to open the connection ? Will I get an error ? MSDN says the request is queued, but will I get an error in the open method ? ...

I write my large project in C++ source code. My C++ source code contains approximate four thousand small functions. Most of them are inline. I define variables and functions in the global scope. The global variables and global functions are hidden to prevent from accessing by the programmers. All global functions share global variables. Only very few global functions are allowed to be reusability for the programmers to use. Few...

Hi, I have a question on constant variables. In the following code snippet, I have a function assign() that takes in an iterator to the private variable v, the number of stuff to assign (int n), and the information to assign (a const pointer to a class object Vector<TYPE>. According to the arrow below, I put a const keyword in the function. To my knowledge, this means that all private variables in this object

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it. First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
