Trying to insert data containing #

I'm trying to insert literal data containing #, like so:

insert into table1 values ('fld#1')

and Access is barfing on the pound sign. Is there some sort of escape
character I can use to prefix the # so it will accept it (or some
similar workaround)?

Thanks,

Never mind... I found another problem that was masking the solution to
this one.

We're good.

Thanks,

Scott

I think I've finally found a tutorial that can get me started: http://www.zib.de/Visual/people/mueller/Course/Tutorial/tutorial.html and I've been lurking for awhile as well. What happened is, I've been playing with Qt in KDE on a Slackware 10.0 system, and following their cookbook exercises, and everything's working, and I have no clue what the code is doing, i.e.. how do I connect my brain to the ascii in the files to the stuff on...

This is working no problems at all: SqlSelectCommand1.Parameters("@blast_no").Value = blastNo So this displays the...

Currently we have a database with a main table containing 3 million records - we want to increase that to 10 million but thats not a possibility at the moment. Nearly all 3 million records are deleted and replaced every day - all through the day - currently we're handling this by having 2 sets of tables - 1 for inserting, 1 for searching. A block of records (10k - 1 million) (distinguished by a client identifier field) happen on the...

Can someone provide me the simple syntax necessary to insert or update to a row containing a single BLOB column, where the BLOB data will be obtained from a file? This is on a linux installation. The table has 2 INTs and 1 BLOB column. So, I've scoured various docs and such, and the closest I've come up with is some sort of animal that looks like this: db2 load from /tmp/myblobfile of asc method L (1 780) insert into......

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it. First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
