Move buttons by user ?

Hello,

is it possible to let the user move buttons on a screen ?
I have multiple buttons on a screen and the user can decide where to put
the buttons.
I know i can write the left and top position to a table and read them
when opening the same screen.

Thanks in advance
Erwin

One simple option is to give users access to your form's design so
they may rearrange elements to their liking. Not for the faint of
heart. Perhaps better to just find a design that works for everyone.

Programmaticall y this is difficult to do. Access is not good at drag
and drop, so I foresee more Windows API calls than most developers
would want to bother with.

I'm using Access 2002. My database is in Access 2000 format. I'm designing a form to collect responses to a 40-item questionnaire. I can fit four list boxes on a screen, so I plan to have 11 tab pages (one page at the end for collecting identifying information) on my form. To ease the task for the user, I'd like to have an automatic movement to the next page. For instance, when the user clicks on the choice for Question 4 (the last of...

Hi All, On my form, I have 2 listboxes that get populated with the correct items. I have 4 buttons between the 2 boxes. The first 2 buttons are used to move the selected item back and forth between the boxes. That works fine. The last 2 are used to move all the listbox items (whether they're selected or not) that are in 1 box over to the other box. After the move, I want the other box to be empty. I am calling clear() and

I am writing a python program to load a pdf file into an IEHtmlWindow which displays it through adobe acrobat reader 7. Depending on the buttons the user clicks, the program moves it to another subdirectory with a new name. I am using python 2.4 with wxpython 2.6 on a windowsxp machine. I encounter a permission denied error when trying to move the file. It appears to be caused due to the loading of the pdf file into the IEHtmlWindow....

It's an interesting question, as I see it. I have a form, in which there are a few command buttons, which change color when the mouse is on top of them (On Mouse Move). Now, I want the color to be changed back to normal when the mouse moves away from the command's button area. The only way I have figured up untill now how of to do it, is having a big text box around the command buttons area, which is sent to back, and to have On Mouse Move...

I have a page that has a number of radio buttons that will be displayed to different access levels of a user who logs in to my website. For instance, if there are a dozen buttons, user1 will see all twelve. User2 would see buttons 1-3,10-12 and NOT any others, and so on. Since there are several buttons on the page (each one would run a report for them), is there a way to - in an onclick event for each of the buttons - to...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...
