Another way of doing this is to divide by the real number of days in a
year then round down. Thus the difference between date 1 and date 2...

YearsDiff = Int(([d2]-[d1])/365.242)

MonthDiff = ([d2]-[d1])/(365.242/12) Mod 12

I have serious Access problems so please be gentle. I have one table that stores the quantities and net sales for thousands of Products. I have another table that has fixed costs values on a country level. I need to apply a percentage (based on net sales) of the fixed costs across the products.

Hi all, In Microsoft Access 2000, how do I tell a query to count a null as zero? I'm adding several columns of data, and many contain nulls, but that makes my results be null as well. Is there any simple way to compensate for this? Maybe at the SQL level? I run into this often in MS SQL, but I generally use a DTS to create a temp table and convert all null's to zero... but in this Access database, the data is linked from a...

Hi everybody! After searching newsgroups for a couple of hours, I now try asking directly (running the risk of asking again the same question). My problem is to predict when the size of the database (1GB I expect) is over 1GB by calculating the maximal number of data sets (tuple) added: 1. Is the following calculation for estimating the mdb file size in Access 97 correct: 1 integer field = 4 Byte

Lets say I have 10 products in 10 different stores and every week I get a report from each store telling me how many items they have left for each of the 10 products. So each week I enter in 100 records with a store number, item number, on hand qty, and date of report into my sales data table. My tables primary is a combo of store# & Item number & Date After 10 week of this I have 1000 record total with ten unique dates.

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...
