Hi
Know any good utilities to help me strip out the tags that
Microsoft Excel 2002 leaved behind when you try
and export an HTML format file?
This is driving me NUTS.
And really makes me hate microsoft with a passion.
I literally just want "compact HTML" - ie just the data,

I use an Access database to basically take data exports, import them,
manipulate the data, and then turn them into exportable reports. I do
this using numerous macros, and queries to get the data in the format
that I need it in order to create the reports that we use. So far this
has proven to be successful for the reports that I am doing and the
data that I am pulling into it. I just have one challenge that may
require a lot of work and I...

In Access 95/97 I used to be able to create pull down menus (File,Edit
...) from a macro. It seems there used to be some wizard for that.
However in Access 2000 it seems you have to build your menus by
customizing a toolbar. With this method you have to create a separate
macro for every single menu and sub menu. The old method would allow
me to include several menus (File/ print/ page setup ...) all within
one macro. Now it seems I...

I have a user/pc specific problem in access.
This doesn't occur on any other ( windows xp pc) that I have used the
..mbd on.
This involves a query that's using a range of dates as a parm. This
query uses a form for the date range to be entered.
The date form uses a macro to verify that the dates are entered.

Hi,
I've a VB script that creates a Access object in a word doc.
Here is the full script.
It works for all but the Export. Which always fails with a 3011 error.
If I do the same in Access as a straight Macro or script it works.
Add it as an object and it won't work.
HELP.

Hi:
I have read a number of threads on the issue of compressing (compacting) Access data bases
programmatically, and have been left confused. We are using Access 2000, and I need code
that will programmatically compress an open database. (called "InvoiceManagement.be).
Can someone give me a piece of code that will do this, or a pointer to one, please?
Thanks

Good Morning Folks;
I have a question that is pretty far fetched but here goes nothing... I am looking to find a way to insert a macro into an Excel command button located in an Access VBA generated Excel spreadsheet from an Access Module. I can create the spreadsheet, button, and I have the macro to insert into command button. But I am not sure how to assign the macro to the button in the access module.
Set xlApp =...

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
