Hallo,
I have developed an application in MS Access 2000 (Polish version) under MS
Windows XP prof (also Polish).
Now I would like to run this code on MS Windows XP EN and MS Access XP EN.
I have converted the mdb to version 2002 under MS Access XP Polish and under
this version everything works OK.
The problem starts when I copy the mdb file to Windows XP EN and start it
with MS Access XP EN.

Im having a wierd chinese font issue in Access 2000.
I installed the chinese support for access 2000, have all the windows stuff
setup, even have 10-12 other chinese fonts installed. I made a new text
field, in one of my tables. Pasted some chinese text in the field(datasheet
view), and the chinese text is sideways. The chinese character is flipped
90degrees. Ive tried different fonts, no difference. Ive typing in

I have a client who is using Access 2002/2000 (the database itself is
written in 2000), and is considering migrating to Access 2003. Any
recommendations on whether Access 2003 is worth the migrate, or should he
stick with 2002?

OK, I'm confused. SOME folks here seem to be saying it IS possible
to link to or otherwise access and manipulate MDB files stored on a
web server (from the client) and others seem to be saying it's NOT
possible.
Assuming the latter is correct, shouldn't it be possible to do it with
a hidden Data Access Page running on the client machine?
I assume it's possible to run a DAP without revealing it to the client
user -- correct?

I got an MS Access DB, which is causing problems when the client PC is
running using a Traditional Chinese codepage.
The DB was probably created with Access 97, Western European codepage.
However, the DB I got is now already in Access 2002 / 2003 file format,
thus should be already converted to Unicode.

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
