Hi everybody-
I'm trying to use a checkbox to control whether or not a date field in
a query "Is Null" or "Is Not Null."
I have 2 date fields: InDate and OutDate. If there is an OutDate, then
the record is finished. If there is no OutDate, then the record is not
finished.
I'm using an unbound form (frmStatus) to enter data into a query to

I am trying to resolve a problem I'm experiencing in Access 2000.
I have an unbound control which is set be code on the open event of a
form. However when I try to subsequently run some code which references
the value in the unbound control, the code cannot see the value set. If
however I manually type in the value into the unbound control the code
works fine.
I have tried to Refresh and Repaint the form, but this does not solve

I've got a continuous form based on a query
the first 2 controls on the form are bound to columns in the query
a third control (paymentAmount) is unbound
I have a total control in the footer, where the control source is
=sum(paymentAmount)
this displays #Error#
but if I temporarily change my query to add a paymentAmount column

I've got a bound report with a query as the record source. I'm adding
a total to the footer and have inserted a text box to display it. I'm
attempting to set the control source of the text box to a different sum
aggregate query using the expression builder. When I select the query
and it's single field, single row field it inserts the following in the
control source box for the text box.
=!
I've tested the query (...

Hi,
If I have a radiobuttonlist control and have some items in them, is it
possible to hide one item depending on "situation" for eg: Users, Managers
log in and see the same radiobuttonlist control but if user logs in he
should not see item "Query 5" and if manager logs in he should
<asp:radiobuttonlist id="TaskRadioButton" runat="server" Width="440px"
Font-Size="X-Small" RepeatDirection="Vertical" RepeatColumns="2">

Hello,
Does anyone have an idea on how I can filter the data in the gridview
control that was returned by an sql query?
I have a gridview that works fine when I populate it with data. Now I want
to look at that data and filter it based on what is in it.
I know that this could have been done with data sets and data views in
asp.net 1.1 but how is this done now in asp.net 2.0?

I have a form with a subform control on it listing
records returned by a saved query named UnbilledVehicles.
I would like to put command buttons on the main form
to apply dynamic filters to the records displayed in the
subform control. Say, for instance, to list only 2004 model
cars. I'm seeking the simplest approach.
The main form is frmCreateInvoice, the subform control
is named frmCreateInvoiceSubFormCtl and the actual sub-
form is...

I want to set things up such that a section of code will have been
executed by the time one clicks on the drop down arrow on a combo box
control. Currently, that section of code resides in the OnGetFocus
event of the combo box control, and this appears to work...I'm
guessing because one cannot click on the drop down arrow of a combo
box control without first having the combo box control receive focus.
But I noticed that the code gets...

You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
