Hi everyone,
Any help with the following would be very greatfully received.
I've been having a lot of problems trying to get the standard winforms
toolbar to display my images correctly. The image in question is a 32x32
icon graphic saved as a png (with alpha transparency).
It displays perfectly in a PictureBox control. When it comes to displaying
it on a toolbar button, it seems that the transparency or alpha settings

I have a custom toolbar for users during any preview of a report
launched by a button click on a form.
I would like to add a toolbar button to launch the Print Dialog (like
'Ctrl-P' or File|Print...).
Is this possible? I cant seem to find one, during customizing.
Note that there are no menus (disabled all menus) and the toolbar is
available only during Print Preview mode, when the user has launched a
report from a form.

Hello,
I'm pretty new to C# and .NET.
I've been tasked with creating an Internet Explorer toolbar. I implemented
it and it works OK, however, because the toolbar has a notion of having to
log into an account and do other time consuming initialization, the result
is that IE takes around 5 seconds to start each time a browser window is
opened.

Hi All,
I am trying to get a 24x24 "Windows XP" icon to display correctly on a
button in my toolbar. My icon has 8 layers (16x16, 16x16, 24x24, 24x24,
32x32, 32x32, 48x48, 48x48) with each size having a 256 and windows xp
colored image. When my application runs, the icon with 256 colors appears
rather than the xp icon. I have tried using a manifest as well as
Application.EnableVisualStyles. No luck.
I have seen numerous articles...

after I changed the image size. I tried different
combinations of images sizes and button sizes. I have
tried both botton and the image in the same sizes or
button size was larger than that of image. The images
were still invisible. What is the trick? I asked this
question a while ago. Thanks.

Dear friends
I have added an icon to the toolbar. The icon is excellent in preview but in
the toolbar it displays with poor quality. Do somebody know what may cause
the lower quality in toolbar?

I've been trying to get a standard toolbar to play nice with some nice icons
that I have. When I put them on a button or anything they look perfect, but
through an imagelist and on a toolbar they all have this blue aura around
them. I assume that is from the transparency, but I don't understand why
almost any other control displays them properly.. There really is no
replacement for the toolbar (without paying!), so I hope someone can tell...

I'm moving Access2000/2003 apps into Access2007 running on XPpro
Dells.
I've found where to lower the macro security and with a tweak to
references have allowed me to use my custom toolbars without the
ribbon. My toolbars are small usually just Print and Close.
The Print icon works OK but nothing happens when you click on Close.
Any work around?

I have a toolbar addin written in VC++. I have registered that toolbar with MS Word. I have an icon in the toolbar which needs a change of status (on/off, like Show/Hide icon in Word) whenever a document gets opened. So, I need to capture the Word document Open event in toolbar code to change the status of the icon.
Is this possible first, if so any pointers to do this will be helpful.
Thanks,
AT

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
