Export Filtered Form to Excel

Ken
I have a form that has a command button on it to open a report. The
report is based on the forms data, if it's filtered the report is
filtered, if the form is showing 100 records the report is showing the
same 100 records, etc.

I want to create another command button which exports to excel, in the
same manner above. Whether the form is filtered or not, the same
records should be exported.

I played around with TransferSpreads heet but I can only get it to
export all the records to excel, even when it's filtered.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Ken

I use: DoCmd.OutputTo acOutputForm, frmNameOfForm, , , True

This code will put just the records from the record source of your
form. Play around with the acOutputForm method a little and you might
be able to get it to work exactly the way you want it to. Hope this
helps.

MS Access 2003 "filter by form" has drop down lists that allow the user to select values for each field to filter by. However, once some values are selected, the remaining dropdown lists remain the same and aren't progressively filtered to reflect the selections already made in other fields. This can be very tedious when filtering a large datasheet. Unlike Access, the MS Excel autofilter has automatic progressive filtering of value...

The user is allowed to filter the data in the normal way but when they export to excel they get the filtered data they wanted but other data as well. How do I get the export to show only the details that the user wants i.e.

Hello, I've recently been asked to work with Microsoft Access, and while I feel quite comfortable with Excel, I'm at a complete loss with databases. If someone could help me with this issue I'm having I'd be most appreciative. The database is already constructed, I'm just wanting to export the data to an excel file. In short, I'm hoping to export two Tables (or queries...not sure which to use - they both seem to have the same data) in...

Its great producing data for users to look at in your web pages and generally that is sufficient for their needs but sometimes you may want to supply your user with the data in a form they can actually do something more with. This code shows you how to display data from your database and then how to give that data to the user in the form of a useable Excel spreadsheet which they can then take away and play with themselves. The way I have shown...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
