Automated Time Card System Recommendations

I'm looking for recommendations for automated time card systems that
work well with Access. I only need the system to be able to identify
employees and start and stop times in order to integrate with an
existing costing database. I can program a barcode reader in Access
but I think the company is looking for something that is compact,
networkable and professional looking. I've also heard about systems
that use small induction coils to identify employees. I wanted to see
if anyone had any success stories before starting my research. I
appreciate any recommendations that may be of value.

Thanks,
James A. Fortune

I went and googled "time card reader" and the first link brought me to
http://www.timeclockplus.com/product...prof/prof.aspx. It says

"TimeClock Plus™ Professional Edition offers the power of SQL using
MSDE®, Microsoft's Desktop Server Engine. Each copy of Professional is
distributed with MSDE, eliminating the need for the purchase of
Microsoft SQL Server®. MSDE's capabilities are essentially identical to
those of SQL Server with a governed limit of 5 concurrent users and 2 Gb
database limit.". So I see no reason why you can't link to it.

There are no prices...so I guess there is some cost to it. But if you
want something professional it might be worth it.

This product looks like it has many of the features I'm looking for.
Thanks for the info. Googling is good but I prefer to hear from
someone who has actually used the product. Has anyone here used this
product or a different one and recommend it? BTW, price is not a
constraint.

I thought it might be a better way to programm an automated, dynamic form validation that works for all kinds of fields, shows the...

Hello, Our QA team have running a lot of test scripts (for automated regression testing), they run them on the different databases (Oracle/MS SQL). I have indeed googled this group and googled the 'net, and what I came up with was that if I want to have an automated process that ZIPs a file, I need to come up with 600 bucks for PKWare's server product. Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows.
