"Too many Fields" error running query with <255 fields

I'm having a problem running a query. I get the "too many fields" error
message, but I only have 162 fields in the query and I thought the
limit was 255. The problem query (Query1) is based on query2 that pulls
together records from two tables. Could the problem be that some of the
fields in Query1 use expressions using (SELECT "[field1]",
"query2","[field2]>3")? The rest of the fields in Query1 just use Avg.

Thanks in advance,
Ian

As well as the 255-field limit, there's another limit in Access. All the
fields need to fit into the buffer size, which is around 2000 characters.

Memo fields contribute only about 10 characters for the address, so
replacing some of the wide text fields with memos might be a workaround.

I have a tabbed form that contains 12 different "pages" and when I try and run the form I get the error message too many fields defined --- which I believe is the 255 field limit in the record source. I was wondering, that if I were to break the pages down to include subforms... is the number of fields contained in the subforms added to the field limit for the main form ??? Is there some other way to work around this error message ???

I have compiled data from 13 tables, one for each month of the year that hold 45 fields each, and another for employee information, that holds 16 fields. The database is intended to record hours and special pay withholdings. I split up the report into First Half and Second Half, as the paper version we use currently does. My report First Half let me create control boxes for each field I wanted to include, however, when I try printing or...

I am currently modifying an existing DTS process by adding a new field in the Transformation task. This process queries data from SQL tables and import it to MSExcel. Steps 1. Drop the table 2. Create the table 3. Connect to SQL server and perform data import to excel When I was testing the new field that I added I am getting this error.

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
