Report Group Section Footer displaying Totals

I have a group section footer in a Report in which I want to display
various "counts" (not sums).

For example:
some of the fields in the recordset from the query are:
score = integer
qualified = true/false

I want:

number of records with Score value of NULL ( I have ControlSource of the
textbox =Count(IsNull([score]))

number of records with qualified = True (I have ControlSource of the
textbox =Count([qualified]=True)

What I am getting is the total number of records in the selected group.
Not what I want.

Can you help?

Regards,
SueB

You could use
=Sum(IIF(Qualif ied],1,0))

Try
=ABS(Sum([score] Is Null))
=ABS(Sum([qualified]))

Hello I have a report, which lists records. Each record has money paid field. Money paid can be 0 or not 0. I calculate and print summary of money for a group in the group footer, as well as summary of money for all groups the report footer. When there is at least one record with money >0, group and report footers are appropriate and look OK. When all records are with 0 money, footers look silly. I’d like not to print them. I have placed...

Hi I am trying to calculate a running total of a calculated textbox (tbAtStandard) in GroupFooter1 for placement in a textbox (tbTotalAtStandard) on my report in Groupfooter0. The problem that I am having is that sometimes the correct total shows up in print preview and sometimes it doesn't. Sometimes it is higher and sometimes it is lower (than the correct amount) and I cannot make any sense of the difference. The difference...

I've tried to be clear, but this still seems overly complex to me, but here goes: I have a report in front of an aggregate query. I have a single subreport based on the same query for both a month/year group and for grand totals (linked on month/year) . Instead of the name of the program and the month/year, I would like: - a label on the report header to read "Monthly Summary" with the month

Hi, I have a report displaying items that are missing from a room. I created 2 queries, the first getting the items IN the room, and the second being an "unmatched" query that references the first query where Item is Null. I use a subreport for the details, and the results display correctly. However, the Report_Details event of the subreport is executed about 2 or 3 times more than I would expect (I think 3 times when I have a

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
