Create dynamic hyperlink in Access 2000

Greetings,

I apologize if this has been asked and answered a lot. Googling showed
me a few people asking, but I didn't find any clear-cut answers.

I have a vendor db, and I need to create a hyperlink using values from
a table, e.g.:
http://myserver.com/form.jsp?name=[Vendor_name]&addr1=[Address_1]
and so on...

This can be in a form, query, or as a new column in the table.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance!

I may be missing the point, but there is a Data Type of Hyperlink when you
design a table. You can then have a Textbox on a form to access it

I work with Access 2000 and Outlook 2000. I know how to write the code that creates a mail message using Access fileds. My problem is that while I have defined the body of the mail message, I want a certain word to appear as a hyperlink. For example, The message may read: "Please email Bill@webaddress.com" But I want "Bill@webaddress.com" to be a hyperlink. Is there code or property I can use to do this while I define the body?

I have given the field a default value which is an email-address. The default value is (for example): "mailto:mymail@here.com". Access2000 correctly inserts that information into the field everytime

I can't find any issue in the MS KB, but I'm experiencing the following problem which seems to be specific to IE5, and NOT any other version of IE 5.5+ or NN 6+. Issue: I'm using an asp.net hyperlink control and setting the imageurl property. It seems that when the img tag is rendered in the hyperlink (<a>) tag, the img tag is closed with a /> instead of the usual > tag. Because of this, when the hyperlink is clicked in IE5, the hyperlink...

Hello. I've converted a bound Access 2000 form which displays data retrieved from an Access 2000 database to an unbound form. Now my hyperlinks don't work. I'm assuming it's because the form isn't bound anymore. I didn't even have that field's data type as hpyerlink - just test. I did have the form control's "hyperlink" property set to true and it worked fine in bound mode. The fields stores paths to pdf files. How can I make the...

I have an Access 2000 form that has a Hyperlink that opens an Excel 2000 worksheet located in the same network folder as the Access MDB. The Hyperlink works great. When users close the Excel File, they must choose the correct open Access form on the Windows Desktop Taskbar to return to the Access form that had the Hyperlink. Is there a way to:

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
