I've secured my Access database by creating an MDE file because it contains
confidential data. However, I find that anyone can simply use Microsoft
Access to link to or import the tables in that MDE. How do I stop my MDE
from sharing it's data to any application that requests it?

I have a large pool of business objects all referencing one another in
various ways.
In the client application I want to do something like
employee.Delete();
Behind the scenes, I want to remove all references to the object
allowing it to be garbage collected. I then want to remove the physical
representation of the object from persistance. Unless I have missed a
scenario, the references to the object can be deleted in two ways

I wrote a access program that works well enough that a handful of
people would like to buy it from me.
My problem is that if I sell it to someone there is no mechanism that
I know of to protect them from giving it to anyone they feel like.
The program produces reports that are specific to a particular
organization but that does stop anyone from just modifying that report

Is this possible?
I know about a bit about ODBC and found how to import an ODBC database
stored on the computer, however I am after accessing an SQL database
stored on a webserver. I'd like to keep it up to date, but that could
probably be done with a macro.
At the moment I'm just considoring possible options, so just need to
know if it can be done, how easy and a rough idea of how.

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
