Remove Access Protection

Hi,
i've a mdb access file and i launched
Tools->Protection->SettingAutomat icProtection (sorry if translation
isn't fine but the language in my PC is not english :-( ) two weeks ago
..
In other words i've automatically set protection in DB.
Now access created a "protection.mdw " in which are stored groups and
users.
I have administrator account and now i'd like to remove all
protection...
How can i remove it?

I hope i explained well my problem instead of my bad english...

log in to your administrator account, then go to the user accounts and
delete the adminstrator password

I've secured my Access database by creating an MDE file because it contains confidential data. However, I find that anyone can simply use Microsoft Access to link to or import the tables in that MDE. How do I stop my MDE from sharing it's data to any application that requests it?

I have created some password routines to protect certain forms from access without a password. This allows me to create some security for apps that will be used on diff machines for users that will not have to learn the whole access security process and me as well. I would like to lockup my database by unchecking all of the options in the tools/startup from. I know i can create custom menus, toolbars and command bars and add a link to...

I have a large pool of business objects all referencing one another in various ways. In the client application I want to do something like employee.Delete(); Behind the scenes, I want to remove all references to the object allowing it to be garbage collected. I then want to remove the physical representation of the object from persistance. Unless I have missed a scenario, the references to the object can be deleted in two ways

I have a question about saving an MS Access program to CD and verifyng that the program works after being saved. Here is my situation, I have a person who developed an application for me using MS Access 2003 and the person will be transferring ownership to me. The developer will be giving me a CD with Access DBase source code on it. How do I verify that he gives me everthing I need to run the application once the developer departs. ...

I wrote a access program that works well enough that a handful of people would like to buy it from me. My problem is that if I sell it to someone there is no mechanism that I know of to protect them from giving it to anyone they feel like. The program produces reports that are specific to a particular organization but that does stop anyone from just modifying that report to make it specific to another organization, who they might have...

Is this possible? I know about a bit about ODBC and found how to import an ODBC database stored on the computer, however I am after accessing an SQL database stored on a webserver. I'd like to keep it up to date, but that could probably be done with a macro. At the moment I'm just considoring possible options, so just need to know if it can be done, how easy and a rough idea of how.

Hello, I am trying to develop a database solution for an organisation in Indonesia. This organization has a number of offices and users throughout the country. They all need to maintain their own data, but I also need to create a central database, to store all of the data, and share data between the individual users. The problem is that the internet connections are not reliable, so a online solution isn't possible. I am planning to...

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it. First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...
