I have two cells on a form. One of them is the "Production Date" and the
other is the "Expiry Date". The "Expiry Date" is 183 days after the
"Production Date."
On an Excel spreadsheet, the "Expiry Date" is automatically entered, when
the "Production Date" is entered. To do this the "Expiry Date" cell carries
the following formula: "=A15+183".

sort on a particular type of software, and then identify and count how
many copies there are per each group of that type purchased on the same
date.
I have no trouble doing a query to extract the type (say MS Excel 2002,
for example). The trouble is, there could be 50 copies purchased on

I have the need to import logs into an Access table.
The first field is a date & time field, represented in this example:
05/15/2004 17:58:55.336
This is how the logs are reported. DateTime. The time is to 3
decimal points of the second.
Access is not letting me import this into the Date & Time field.

i am a pilot by profession. i want to create a database of my logbook
using ms access 2002. i am facing a problem regarding the format of

this format gives the liberty to record times uptill a figure of 59 in

Hope you can help me out here. I'm trying to import from Excel but the
default date in Excel is in this format: 12/2/2005 12:49:49 AM (for
example).
What input mask can I use in Access so it will accept it? If it is a
challenge, how can I knock it down to just the date?

I am trying to display dates in a spreadsheet, but the dates need to be in a
format that will allow them to be sorted in Excel. The datatype in the SQL
Server database is datetime. In this case, I need to display the date only,
not the time. But I don't want to change the datatype in the database
because the time is used in other places.
