These numbers were obtained by measuring a 1 pixel difference in

reports for a given open form, remains the same when I change
resolutions. I thought that the pixels were different (12 vs. 15) with
each resolution, and would change when setting the resolution and
reopening the form.
Any advice or comments would be appreciated.

No - you can't make such assumptions. It will depend on the aspect ratio of
your monitor and your dpi (dots per inch) setting in Windows. You should use
API calls to determine the dpi in the X and Y direction on your system
configuration - it won't always be the same in both directions. Note that an
"inch" here means what your programs will treat as an inch, not a physical
inch of physical distance on your screen.

If the dpi setting is the same for all resolutions, then Twips per Pixel will
be the same as well. That's pretty normal. If you change your display

Hi,
When I create a text field on a report with a 8 point font in it and let
Access decide the size, the height wil become 0.423 cm. This comes down to
240 twips wich is 12 points.
My question: Why does access need an extra 4 points
I need a report with only 1 point white between the lines. Is there a way to
do that without clipping the g, j, y, etc???

Iam printing a special form using vb6 report designer. In which I am printing 25 totals on the right side on the form. My totals take a whole standard letter page size. The last amount (total) which is at 14112 twips from the top of the the page. The page height is 14760 twips. Each one of the total fields has 3750 twips.
