Problem printing report

I have a report set up for printing invoices. It works ok if I print to the
local printer, but if I print over the network all my totals dissappear.
They are formatted as Euro. I changed this to Currency to no avail. However,
if I format to standard or fixed, they print ok. Anyone come across anything
like this. Is it likely to be an Access problem or a printer problem.

Thanks

John

Can you read French? There is an article about numbers disappearing here:

Hi all,

The fix is quite simple but still strange ...

For some reason the registry key 1025 is set to ON (concerning arabic
language) and the arabic language is not taken care of ...

You either turn it OFF :
Key : HKEY_USERS\<<us er
identity>>\Soft ware\Microsoft\ Office\9.0\Comm on\LanguageRess ources\1025
(As to be done for every user on the machine)

or install the arabic language (good for everyone):
Control Panel
Regional settings
General tab
Check the arabic language
Accept and reboot

I'm having problems printing to a line printer from both Crystal Reports and SQL Server reporting services using dotnet. When I try and print a report from an application with Crystal I get the error message "the data area passed to a system call is too small", and nothing else. With SSRS when I try to print the report from the IDE I get the same error, I can load the report up to the report server and view it with IE, then print it from...

The main report shows all medical conferences for a resident by year, by month. A resident can attend many of the same conferences in a year. In the year footer, I have a subreport that summarizes all conferences and the number of times attended. This data is stored in an array that is updated during the printing of the report detail. I cannot do a simple grouping/counting of conferences. For some conferences, the resident has to be...

I have finally got "SendObject" to work but now have a filter problem. I have a database set up that I generate orders and print them as a single page report. I've set up a filter so that when I "onclick" the button it simply prints the order I can see (ie if I've entered Order 0100 - it only prints the one that is open in the form). I want the command button to continue printing but to also send the single page by e-mail. However,...

Hi, I am getting into printing with VB.NET 2005 and want to implement the usual capability that a user can select a selection of pages. I have a report that is generated by my application that if the user wants all pages will produce 3 pages. I want to offer the user the ability to select via the print dialog that only pages 1 and 2 of it are printed or possibly pages 1 and 3 but not 2. At the moment I can produce all three pages...

Hi Access 2000 sp3. We print a report on OKI 3391 ML (actually using the Epson LQ-1050 driver) with a custom form size. Recently we re-did the dell pc that the printer is connected to using the original win xp disk that came with the pc. Since then the report printing has developed the following problem; The report prints parts of report text double i.e. it prints over twice some portions of the text but not all text. The portions of...

Hello, I have 7 different crystal reports that need to be collated. Since I want to end up with a page of each (which all together make a single report), I created a blank main report and then added the 7 as subreports so they can print one after the other. I'm supposed to be printing them from a VB.Net 2003 application and I will be passing 2 parameters (start and end dates). These reports are huge (over 1000+ pages each). My original...

Hi everyone, this is my first post so please bear with me. I have the following situation: i have a local report that needs to have two "versions": one for viewing in the report viewer (with all elements: lines, borders, "labels", etc..) and another one for printing - it needs only the information from the dataset. I need this because i have a lot of "official" documents (medication prescriptions, sick leave etc...) so the user must see the...

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it. First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
