I have an A2K database with linked tables to SQL Server 2000.
I am trying to use an iif statement in a query.
IIf([forms]![frmreporting]![Associate] Is Null,
"*",[forms]![frmreporting]![Associate])
This will return records when [forms]![frmreporting]![Associate] is not null
but will not return any records when ([forms]![frmreporting]![Associate] is
null. I want to return all records when ([forms]![frmreporting]![Associate]
is null.
Also tried:
IIf([forms]![frmreporting]![Associate] Is Null,Like
"*",[forms]![frmreporting]![AssociateID]) with various combinations of singe
and double quotes.
Can anyone assist? Any workarounds?
Thanks 1 1538

Hi, guys - looking for a bit of help/advice on moving a database from
SQL 7 to SQL 2000.
We've a third party application which currently uses a SQL7 database.
This database has a number of views which are owned by user
INFORMATION_SCHEMA and are set as system tables. This user doesn't
actually have a login on the SQL server.
We've tried the following to recreate the database on SQL2000, but
whatever we try, the views owned by...

Hello, I'm in the process of changing our 'normal' Access 2000 update
queries to Update Pass Through Queries. We have a SQL server 2000
database and we're using an Access 2000 database as our front end.
In the criteria of one of our update query fields, we use both the
isnull(field1) and Not IsNull(field2) then Field3, otherwise, set the
updated field as null. Here's my converted Pass Through Query :
UPDATE Vsel SET

I am trying to add a SQL2000 subscriptor to a SQL2005 publisher and
distributor using the Management Studio.
I'm using a non-standard port in both ends, but I have set the port
for the TCP/IP protocol to the non-standard port in both the server
and client network configuration.
I can add the SQL2000 server to the Management Studio console without
problems, and even without haveing to specify the port I'm using (as
expected)

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
