I changed from Access97 to AccessXP and I have immense performance
problems.
Details:
- Access XP MDB with Jet 4.0 ( no ADP-Project )
- Linked Tables to SQL-Server 2000 over ODBC
I used the SQL Profile to watch the T-SQL-Command which Access ( who
creates the commands?) creates and noticed:

It is possible to relate queries to tables, right? It seems logical
but when I try to match my queries to any of the tables or even to
each other it gives me a blank relationship. What could I possibly be
doing wrong on this?

to Execute it from Access? (Similar to hiding Tables, then using

I have a need to add another field to all of my tables (over 150). Not data,
but an actual field.
Can I code this somehow. So the code presumabley would loop through all the
tables, open each table in design mode and then add the new field and set its
properties.

I know how to create a front end and back end and link from FE to BE tables. BUT, how do I create an opening page to a database that doesn't even look like the typical Access database screen? It only shows one or two windows to click on. It very much limits the user to only what I want him/her to do. Thanks.
