I hope someone out there can help. This is driving me crazy.
Basically, I am trying to recreate VBA's built in navigation feature
(The one that allows you to move first, next, previous, and last and
also tells you that you are on Record # or . The
navigation part was easy. My problem is determing the what record I
am on and the total number of records.
I put the following code into the my subforms on Current event:

I've been searching for a few days and have't found the solution I'm
looking for. I want to create the following in my form's
header...Material: 1 of 15. The first number will change as the user
navigates through the records. I have the total records number
already completed. How can I create a field that will give me the
record number? I think what I need is a record counter, that way if I
delete a record, I will not have any wholes...

Hello, Accessors
What I would like to do is create a multi-record table update. I have a
table and a form for it. I want to modify it so that there is a new field
(textbox) (not bound to a table field) on the form wherein the user enters a
number to specify how many new records to add to the table as opposed to the
1 record which is usually inserted by Access. How do you do that?

This one really has me going. Probably something silly. I'm using
dcount for a report to determine the number of different types of
tests proctored in a semester.
My report is based on a parameter query which is the recordsource for
the report. The parameter is <=. The query returns the
correct amounts upto the date entered (no need for "between" dates
here).
There are 8 textboxes with dcounts; 2 other boxes Sum some of these

I want to be able to use the record numbers of a sub-form, are they
available anyhow in VB (Access 2003)?
I want to use the sub-form record number as *part* of the primary key
for the table whose data is displayed on the sub-form. The other part
of the primary key is the column used to join to the master table.
E.g. I have TableA (the master table) with a primary key TableA.Column1.
TableB which is shown in the sub-form has a primary...

Hi,
I have a stored procedure that has to extract the child records for
particular parent records.
The issue is that in some cases I do not want to extract all the child
records only a certain number of them.
Firstly I identify all the parent records that have the requird number
of child records and insert them into the result table.

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
