I have a few DB's that I inherited. One Access database 97 is working
fine and on our network and is the front end to another access 97 db
within an unknown network folder. But, here's the question. When I
look in the table area, I see three linked tables. How can view the
link table and determine where the back end Access 97 is?

Greetings!
After finally figuring out that the Linked Table manager is no longer
an add-in in Access 2003 I now discover that it does not display any
of my linked tables in the 'select linked tables to be updated' list.
Although I have about 30 linked tables in my application, absolutely
none of them are showing up in the list. I compacted and repaired,
but that didn't have any effect. Has anyone else seen this problem?

Is there a way to hard code what a path to a linked table would be
without
going through the Linked Table Manager or a re-linking process?
My issue is that I'm installing a database with linked tables onto
several
different networks. I can pre-determine what each path will be, but I
can't
do the re-linking or the Linked Table Manager remotely for each
network.

encrypted Paradox 7 database. When I first create these linked tables,
I'm asked for the password to the encrypted Paradox database, and the
linked tables are successfully created. I use the data from these
