Access 2003 linked table manager not displaying tables

Greetings!

After finally figuring out that the Linked Table manager is no longer
an add-in in Access 2003 I now discover that it does not display any
of my linked tables in the 'select linked tables to be updated' list.
Although I have about 30 linked tables in my application, absolutely
none of them are showing up in the list. I compacted and repaired,
but that didn't have any effect. Has anyone else seen this problem?
If so, how is it corrected? Thanks.

MS just published the following today:
BUG: List of currently linked tables may not appear in Linked Table Manager Wizard in
a database in Access 2003

I've just reinstalled Office 2003 with all the latest updates on a
freshly formatted machine and this problem still exists. Maybe this is
too simplistic, but wouldn't one think that this would have been fixed
by now by an Office update? Off I go to the MS support site again to
download the patch.

Hey people, I have to convert MS Access 2000 database into mysql database, the whole thing being part of this project I'm doing for one of my faculty classes. My professor somehow presumed I knew db's and gave me long list of things to do with that particular database, first thing being that particular conversion. Truth is that I don't know a first thing about db's, let alone using mysql... I downloaded mysql form www.mysql.com and...

Is the runtime version of Access for distribution, that is available with the developer extensions a fully functional version of Access apart from the ability to create, edit and code a database? Hello! I have a few tables in MS SQL Server 2000, where I have admin permissions for these tables. I have created a blank database in MS Access 2003, where I linked a table from MS SQL Server 2000. The problems is that I have only read permissions on these tables in MS Access 2003, while I have admin permissions in MS SQL Server 2000. Is it possible to have the sime permission in both MS Access 2003 and MS SQL Server 2000? Is it...

Hello and thanks for taking the time to read this. I've looked all over the web and newsgroups and can't find a solution to my problem. I've posted this question to the Access 2000 group as well - sorry for cross posting. Back ground: User at remote site has Access 2000 running on XP (don't know SP of either). Linked tables are DB2 v8 running on AIX. All of the linked tables are in the same database and schema.

Hello. I've got an access97 reporting mdb that pulls data (77,000 rows) from a sql server table into a local table to run reports if the local table is part of the reporting MDB, the insert statement (16 fields) takes less than 30secs, but because of db-bloat, I moved the local table to a 2nd MDB and per postings, this 2nd MDB is copied into a folder and linked as a 'temp' MDB every time I run my reporting mdb

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
