First & Last Pages of Group - JAmes H. Brooks' Code

<Note - you may or may not see the original message which I cancelled
and am reposting - I had the wrong sub listed for A2003>

I'm referring to the code on the Access Web at
http://www.mvps.org/access/reports/rpt0013.htm

This works wonderfully in A97, but I can't seem to get it to work in
A2003. The only difference appears to be the form module for the report
in A2003 is entitled

Private Sub PageFooterSecti on_Format(Cance l As Integer, FormatCount As
Integer)

Versus the following for A97 (which is what shows in the code at the link):

Private Sub PageFooter_Form at(Cancel As Integer, FormatCount As Integer)

Does anyone know what needs to be done with James' code to make it work
in A2003?

Gentlemen, I'm running into a problem whilst testing the parsing of a language I've created with TPG . It seems that for some reason, TPG balks when I try to parse an expression whose first letter is 't' (or, in fact, at any time when 't' is at the beginning of a token). This doesn't happen with any other letter (as far as I know), nor if the 'T' is capitalised. My grammar looks like this:

I'm trying to use Request.Form to gather information in an array and I keep getting a type mismatch...not sure if it's even possible. Basically, Page 1 posts to Page 2...and Page 1 contains a variable declared as: Dim mLic(50) ....which is then populated. When I try: Request.Form("mLic()") or Request.Form("mLic") or

I'd like to make the following proposal for a new feature for the C# language. I have no connection with the C# team at Microsoft. I'm posting it here to gather input to refine it, in an "open Source" manner, and in an attempt to build a ground-swell of support to convince the folks at Microsoft to add it. Proposal: "first:" "last:" sections in a "foreach" block The problem: The foreach statement allows iterating over all the...

Hi, I have a form with a TabControl on it, I have 6 tabs across the top of the page. What I'd like to do is have all but the first and second tab visible when the app starts and then as the user completes the data on the first tab and clicks to the second tab, the third tab appears. What I am trying to avoid is the user not jumping to the next but one tab as each tab determines the contents of the one that follows it. In the...

OK, I don't know if this is Off-Topic for the group(s), because "QT" isn't "Pure C++", and Slackware is a distro, but those guys are sharp. :-) And I've crossposted to sci.electroncs.design because I can. ;-P Anyways, I want to crow about what I've done. I've been dabbling, kind of poking away at the QT tutorials, but when I get to the "Now, write some C++ to make it all go", I kinda hit a railroad crossing. ;-) So, I downloaded...

Hello All, I have been trying to make an https client with python, but it seems that, to do this, one needs to have the socket module compiled with ssl. This is not the default. So I have a couple of questions. 1. Where do I specify to compile socket with ssl? I found no obvious option in configure or setup.py or several other files I checked. 2. Is there a way to do this without re-compiling all of python?

Thanks everyone again for contributing to helping me clear C++ confusions. I did some serious reading on copy constructors and assignments and I think I've got a good handle on the memory stuff. Well, I came across Scott Meyer's SmartPtr example from some 10 years ago. I like the template member function for type conversion to solve inheritance issues. On MSVS 2003, I get the below error, if I declare the constructor SmartPtr(T*...

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it. First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies.
