Access Report and Cutepdf

I am using Cutepdf to convert access report to pdf format. It's working
fine. How can I set the save location and save as file by default and
how can I attach this file automatically to outlook. Please help me with
full code.

Thanks

All, I have exhaustingly been looking through the newsgroups in search of a way to systemically output an Access 97 report to a pdf file using the full version of Adobe Acrobat. I want the user to be able to click a button and have the Access report saved as a pdf in a directory specified by me the programmer. I have seen a posting by John Baker promoting a web-sight that has an mde that one can reference in any database but after 30...

This is the approach I used to automate printing of Microsoft Access reports to PDF format i.e. unattended and without annoying "Save As..." dialogs, and - more importantly - without having to use a commercial program such as Adobe Acrobat and its associated API. The technique uses Ghostscript and Redirection Port Monitor - two free programs for creating PDF documents provided free by Russell Lang. The actual automation requires VBA...

Hi: I have the following line: DoCmd.SendObject acSendReport, "TestReport", _ "SnapshotFormat (*.snp)", _ "joeblow@nowhere.com", , , "Report Test", _ "Does it open correctly?", True I have a report called TestReport. I dropped an image control in the report, and imported a .BMP file into it as the report's background, and sent it to back. I then dropped my fields on top of the image.

Hello All, I have been doing quite a bit of research in this group and have not been able to find the answer that I am looking for. Here is my issue. We currently have Adobe Acrobat v5 installed on our system (under Windows 2000 Professional). Currently, we are using MS Access 2000. Early next year we will be moving to Windows XP (probably converting to MS Access XP as well) and have been told that Adobe Acrobat v6 is to be installed...

Hi Guys: I was stuck. I needed to send a report to a file. My beautiful report(s) in Access were going to require loss of formatting with RTFs, a PITA in WordMailMerge, sending it as a text file...whatever. I described my situation to the guy I'm doing work for and he did some research for me and came up with the following link. http://www.novapdf.com/ The part that should excite us Access developers is their SDK

Is there an easy way to export a continuous report with pictures (6 to a page, all different) to Quark Express for publication. I may need to manipulate the text and pictures somewhat. Also need to export page headers and footers. Thanks

Adobe has WAY to many forums and I wasn't sure which was correct so thought I'd try here first. I'm trying to see if there is a product that will allow us to create a large (1,100 pg) directory, similar to creating one with MS Word. We have Access tables and want to create a healthcare provider directory. Table has ~30,000 records. We'd also want to create a master index and TOC. We want to set this up so each time we update the...

I would like whenever a report is created by a user in my db to store the report as a pdf on a network location, without showing/troubling the user. Anyone know if this can be done, and hopefully how? Im currently using CutePDF, but any freeware pdf-writer could be an option. I would need to be able to "feed" the cutePDF writer (or similar) with the desired filename.

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it. First, let's disable language synchronization. Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
