Can not open reports in MS Acess 2003

Greetings:

I have a converted Access 2000 database that got replaced not converted
to a Access 2003 Database file. Now the reports in Access 2003
Database will not open.

I tried removing Access 2003 and then loading Access 2000. In Access
2000 it allows me to open the reports but it will not allow me to
create a new report.

I have tried the following repair and compact, created a new db and
imported all structures and data. But, I'm still having the same
problems with the reports.

Is there any thing I can do to get the reports to work in Access 00 or
03.

Had you assigned a specific printer to the report(s) in the previous Access
version? If so, select the report(s), one at a time, in the database window
(select only, don't try to open). Next, go to File|Page Setup and on the
Page tab select Default Printer or a printer that exists on that computer.
If there is no printer installed on that computer, install one, even just
the Microsoft Generic Text driver, just so that there is one.

In a recent thread, RKC (correctly, I believe), took issue with my use of multiple parameters in a Property Let procedure to pass dimensional arguments on the basis that, although it works, it's not obvious how the code works if you don't know the intricacies of the Property Let/Get syntax. Likewise, I dislike (and code to minimize the use of) the VB/VBA syntax of returning a value by referring to the function name as if it were a...

At this moment I use MsAccess and i can build about every databound application i want. Who knows about a serious open source alternative? Because Windows will be a client platform for some time, i prefer a solution that (also) supports Windows. On the net I found a number of products that i looked at, but none of them gave me the impression of a serious candidate at this moment (KNoda, Gnome DB Manager, InterBase...). 2 additional...

Hello Access gurus, I am curious as to why you can't open an Access 2003 Db with Access 2000. We have a Visual Basic application which is using DAO 3.6 to connect to the Access database. It IS able to open an 2000 and 2003 Db because they are all in Jet 4 database format, I assume. But when trying to open an Access 2003 Db from Access 2000 you get the 'Unrecognized database' Error. Aren't they the same database structure and the only...

Hi, A little help needed when printing a report to a web page file to be uploaded onto a website. For a number of years now I have used an MS Access database to produse reports and save them on my computer as RTF files. These were then uploaded on to a website that I own for people to acess. Recently I have been asked to change the format so that they are totally web based (HTM/HTML files not RTF) so that the files do not need to be...

I am working within a DB I have been devolping in Access 2003, and have encountered a report coding issue I was hoping someone could help me with: I have 18 reports, each running off some smaller queried version of 2 main queries (apx. 6000 records each). The purposes of the DB and the reports require the formatting of these reports to change monthly as Actual Revenue is reported. I can accomplish all of these monthly formatting changes...

I'm currently creating a database for a travel agency firm in Acess 2003. I'd like to know how I can create a combo box where I select the "holiday Number" and the "holiday destination" and "holiday Price" fields are then subsequently displayed in the two fields below the "holiday Number" field. Currently, I can only manage to get the "holiday destination" and "holiday number" field results displayed after selecting the "holiday number" and not...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
