I have set my form's default view property to continuous forms and have
added a field for the table columns I wish to view. What do I need to do to
allow more than one record to show at the same time... like in a list? 6 2598
It would probably be easier for you to delete your form and start over using
the form wizard. Everything will just fall in place!

Wow... you mean I can't create a continuous form from the design view? I
guess if that's the way it is, so be it. Thanks, I appreciate your help :-)

That's NOT what I said!! From what you said, you did everything you need to
do to create a continuous form from design view. Apparently though you did
not do something right because you are not getting any records. I suggested
using the wizard because it leads you step by step to create a continuous
form.

You are indeed right... I did not do something right. I was hoping to be
able to determine what that might be.

No, that is not what PC Datasheet said, nor meant. What he said, and meant,
was that there is a wizard that makes it virtually effortless to create a
tabular form, so that you can show multiple records.
Multiple records should be visible if you select Continuous Forms view, and
the window in which the form is displayed is sufficiently large to show more
than one.
Without specifics details of what you actually have, we can't be more
specific on suggestions.

Thanks Larry. I really do appreciate PC Datasheet's as well as your input.
My background is with the Oracle development tools. I have not used Access
for at least 10 years. Yes, I do know there is a wizard to create a tabular
form, and I did do that. I compared the form I created with the one created
by the wizard but was not able to identify the difference. Clearly I have
missed something. I will keep at it till I discover what I have done wrong.
Again, I do appreciated your input.

I recently saw the tail end of a "Continuous forms" discussion, but not
enough was available to see if this will be a PITA repeat question. Sorry
if it is.

Thanks in advance... I have a form displaying the results of a query in
a continuous form style. I want to be able to double-click on the key
field of the form (a textbox, in this case a AssetID) and use this to
populate the AssetID textbox of another form. Any ideas on how to link
these?
Thanks!

Searching the net I've found a simple technique to add row numbers and alternate colors (for the even and the uneven row) to a continuous form.
1st step: Create a textbox, send it to background and select the first color.
.ControlSouce =fRowNum(False)
.Name = RowNum
2nd step: Add the following function to the form module: (for row...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".

Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows.
