I'm trying to write some code that will convert any of the most popular
standard date formats twice in to something like "dd Mmm yyyy" (i.e. 08 Jan
1908) and compare the first with the second and calculate days, months, and
years. This is not for a college course. It's for my own personal
genealogy website. I'm stumped about the code. I'm working on it but not
making much progress. Is there any free code available anywhere? I know it...

I've written several scripts that have "while" blocks which increment a
date by one day if the date does not match one of a group of dates.
However, sometimes it apparently steps out out the while loop even
though my condition isn't met. Will work for a few loops then steps out
often.
Are there javascript "date" issues? I have also noticed different
results between Firefox and Internet Explorer.
thanks for any comments,

Hello.
I have a database that tracks reservations at a campground.
I want to be able to make a calendar type report that shows how many
people are here in given period.
Stored for each reservation are
dteReservationFROM (The date they come in)
dtrReservationTO (The date they leave)

OK, here's the sitch : we have an access control system at work that
registers ever entry/exit of every employee. I recently made some
queries in Access so the ppl in HR could make reports (who came in
late, how many ppl were undertimed, etc etc) Now they are not

I am currently working in the sql server 2000 environment and I want to
write a function to pull all dates within a given date range. I have
created several diferent ways to do this but I am unsatisfied with
them. Here is what I have so far:
declare @Sdate as datetime
declare @Edate as datetime
set @SDate = '07/01/2006'
set @EDate = '12/31/2006'

My dbase has the start date and end date of each visit. How can I ask
Access to list the day of the week of the start (easy), end (easy) and,
more importantly, the dates of the visit itself - ie list the dates
between the start and end date. Basically I am doing a day of the week
analysis and need to know which day of the week is busiest.

Subject: How best to use BETWEEN Begin and End Dates to find out if an
employee
was/is member of any group for a certain date range?
You can copy/paste this whole post in SQL Query Analyzer or Management
Studio and
run it once you've made sure there is no harmful code.
I am working on an existing database where there is code that is using

Hi, I have searched the forum for answers on this and to be honest as a
novice I find it a bit confusing so apologies if it is simple.
There are some searches that I want to apply to my database.
1. To search for all records between 2 dates and display them in a report
2. To be able to show all records which have a selection against them made
from a combo box
3. To be able to combine the two, selecting the option from a combo and then...

I have recently learned how list comprehension works and am finding it
extremely cool. I am worried, however, that I may be stuffing it into
places that it does not belong.
What's the most "pythony" way to do this:
even =
for x in range(0,width,2):
for y in range(0,height,2):
color = im.getpixel((x,y))

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...
