Im trying to get the name of a bound control on a continuous form in
Access. So that I can get the value of any text field.
This is what Im looking to do....
The user enters a value for number of entries for a specific month in
column1, column2 is the value for number of entries used Year to Date.
So I am looking to calculate column2 with the value of the current
column1 plus the value of the previous records column2.

Hi all!
After a very long struggle I finally succeded in transferring my old
*.dbf file and the relating *.dbt (alias memo fields) to a pg table.
For the time being I put the memo field in a separate table having two
fields only (i.e.: n_memo integer, memo text) which can be related to
the main table in a view.

Hi all--
In an attempt to commit an Access MDB to a versioning system (subversion),
I'm trying to figure out how to convert a jet table's metadata to text, a
la SaveAsText. The end goal is to be able to build an MDB completely from
the svn repository text files.
Has anybody dealt with this?
Thanks in advance,

Transaction data is given with date ranges:
Beginning End
4/1/06 4/4/06
4/7/06 4/11/06
4/14/06 4/17/06
4/18/06 4/21/06
426/06 4/30/06
I am looking for suggestions on how to find the date ranges where there were
no transactions.

Dear reader,
For matching of two fields it is required that the fields has the same
content.
But now I have the situation that two text fields has not precisely the same
content but there is some minute deference.

In my form I have a master table and a details table linked 1xM. I can
search through the whole parent table but I also like to be able to search
through the child table fields to find parent records. Should I design a new
form for this or can I somehow make this work in the same form.
Thanks in advance,
john

Dear Access Group:
This is the most basic and most embarrassing of questions, but I
cannot find where to change the data type of a text field that I have
in Access 2003 to a number field. I've searched high and low through
help databases and on the internet.
The directions say to :
Open the table in Design view
Click the Data Type column of the field you want to change, click the

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
