Developing a system

Hi,

I need to create a database so I can track my customers more easily. The
list of customers comes from a csv file that I download from Paypal (that
includes address, item id, ebay id etc data). But I want to be able to add
notes to each record.

I have done some vba in college but that was a year ago...

If anybody can give me any links or point me in the right direct I'd be very
grateful,

Many Thanks

I have developed an application for pocket pc that requires multiple forms to be open at any one time. The user is able to flick from one to the other, making changes to each as and when necessary The application uses a stacking system to hold instances of the forms, and an array to hold "previous navigation" information (information on this method was found on "http://smartdevices.microsoftdev.com/Learn/Articles/505.aspx") The problem I have...

Hi, I'm having some serious issues with the 1.1 IDE (Visual Studio 2003) and thinking of moving to the 2.0 beta IDE. My question is: Do I have to migrate my existing 1.1 code to 2.0 standards to continue develop ..NET 1.1 applications? Or can I still use 1.1 (DataGrids etc) in the 2.0 IDE? Thanks,

Hi, Can someone recommend a book that will teach me how to approach C programming so that code is modularised, will compile for different environments (such as variations of Unix and Windows), will be robust etc. As an example, I am developing a BSD Sockets suite which I want to run under various Unixes, including the Zaurus version of Linux, and also run parts of it under Windows. My thought is to

Hi All, I am developing a Windows based application that consists of several different modules. These modules are effectively separate from each other yet share information in a common database. I would like to be able deliver specific modules depending on what the needs of the client are. Some clients may only need Module A and B, while others may need the functionality in Module D. What I am trying to figure out is the best way to go...

Dear Colleagues, we developed a huge application based on Visual Studio C++ 6.0 windows forms, basically this application is one component that belongs to one distributed system, and it's functionality is to provide resources that allow the user to input data to the global system. Actually, our application is becoming unaffordable to maintain due to we've been adding to many patches to it (i know that it's not the correct way of work, but...

Hi all As I'm sure is common knowledge the version of IIS included in XP Pro is limited in that you can only create 1 website in the IIS snap in. As an ASP.net developer this is a pain in the arse because I can't figure out how to stop having this fact cock up my relative urls. When I create a virtual directory - presumably what you're supposed to do when you're only allowed one site my relative URL's refer to the root of the

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it. First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
