I have a site where a user logs in and a session variable I created
is used to keep track of the fact that the user is logged in. This
various pages query a MySQL database to get information (mostly to
generate a catalogue and news page). Occasionally when loading a page I
simply get the error "No database selected" when the PHP script attempts
to run the query. Usually I can press reload in my browser (Netscape,
IE, and Opera) and the...

My code as an txt attachment.
I have 2 drop down list boxes that on selection populate text boxes
from my database table. I am able to display the correct values in
these text boxes.
I have 2 questions:
1) I would like the user update these text fields that get populated
with data from the database. For some reason I get the error when I
change the textbox value.

People, I am at my wit's end.
I am using the exact code from
http://aspnet.4guysfromrolla.com/articles/071002-1.aspx
And yet, the code does not manage to update the database. When I go to
update my database, I am able to get the form fields, and I am able to
replace the data, but when I go "update", the old data remains.
I have done everything correct, including this:

How can I fix this? When I do the below I get the error message:
"Cannot insert explict value for identity column in table
'Employees' when IDENTITY_INSERT is set to OFF."
To get this message, I click the Add button to add a new row to the
database, and then I click the Update button to save the new database
to the external memory.
The methods I used are below.

Hi guys -
I have written a form, and a stored procedure to update the said form.
It really is as simple as that. A user can go into the form, update some fields and hit the update button to update the information which is stored in a SQL database.
In testing we noticed that the form was updating correctly but the update mechanism was also updating the first record of the table in the sql database every time. No error messages are on...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Adolph will...
