Headings and page numbers not printing

When printing tables and queries (not reports) , the table or query name and
the page number is just printing on page 1. This info used to print on all
pages but just stopped. I can't find an option to print header and page
number on all pages. What am I missing?

I'm working on yet another online editor, this allows non html savy people to add "blocks" that may contain paragraphs, headings, lists and images to the editable part of a template. The editable part of the page tends to be simple and homegeneous (each "block" tends to have similar content) as it's just a part of the page (the template are complex). The pages are commercial rather than educational. How many types of headings does a...

I've got an A2K report showing students and their costs. Student info is in the main report and costs are in a subreport for each student. The user inputs the program desired then only those students in that program are printed. I want the subreports headings to print only for the first student on the page. Is there a way to suppress printing of the headings on subsequent students on that page? I tried the following in both the...

Is there an option for psql to use the entry in Comments for "pretty" column headings in a report? For example, instead of printing the column name of "last" in the heading, the option would print "Last Name" that is contained in the Comments field. The only two alternatives I've found so far is to use "SELECT AS" or to mangle the "\d+" output from psql with awk, which are both cumbersome solutions, especially when a "select *" is...

Hello, two days ago I stumbled across a very strange problem that came up when we were printing tiny double numbers as strings and trying to read them on another place. This is part of an object serialisation framework that cannot be done in binary format currently, so please no comments about this ,-)) It took quite some time to shrink down the problem but it looks like that C++ does not behave well in regards to very tiny numbers.

Hi, I need to print a report like document. So in report there are many articles and what I need when I get to the end, is to update page numbers on the second page where the Table of Content is .... or even update strings like Page 1 or 10 ... Page 2 of 10 etc .... When starting the report I don't know the total number of pages nor the page number on which each and every article starts ....

I have a directory of PDF files which contain Headings/Sub Headings and Page Numbers. I wish to write a script to open the PDF, read the Headings and any sub headings and write them out to a file. I want to do this to create some meta files (.pdf.desc). Most libraries that I've seen give the methods to write the headings but not read them. How can I do this? Thanks Pete

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
