I have a report that displays the final grade for each students in a course
in the body of the report, in a text box called "txtAvg".
Now I want the report to display number of As, Bs, Cs, Ds, and Fs. and the
average grade and median grade, and perhaps a bar chart. The report is
called "rptStudentAver ages." I tried the following as the control source in
a text box to display the number of Bs, for example, but, of course, it
doesn't work:
=Nz((DCount("tx tAvg","rptStude ntAverages",">= 82 AND <92"),0)
Instead of a number I just get "#Error" This text box, and the others like
it, are in the group footer. Any ideas? Thanks. 1 1416
Dcount will automatically return 0 when there are no Bs so you don't nee the
NZ function. Also your syntax is wrong; Try:
DCount("[txtAvg]","rptStudentAv erages","[TxtAvg] >=82 AND [TxtAvg] <92")

How do I get all fields on one page of a report?
I have a report that has a column for each day of the week and 6 records for
each day. I need each weekday's records returned on only one detail page.
Instead I am getting a new table layout for each day of the week. I have tried
grouping on every record and combination I can, manipulating the Group
Properties but can't get it right. I have the entire report in the Detail
Section, with...

Hi,
I have an Access 97 report that mimics an official UK Covernment
Customs document, with Page Headers and Footers presenting static data
for each page (logos etc). The report is made up (typically) of
several lines of detail data, with a few summary lines at the foot of
these. I am (nearly) achieving the right "look and feel" by presenting
the line items in the Report Detail section and the summary lines in
the Report Footer BUT...

Hi,
I've been coming up against a failure of a report to display the result of a
simple calculation. I have realised that this calculation cannot take place
unless the field I am working on is displayed or is some way referred to in
the report. am I right in this? It seems odd if the field is there in the
underlying query.
Is this right? Is there a way round?

I have a report that displays records of real estate properties. It is
possible for each property to appear a number of times for various reasons.
Each record however is unique. What I would like to do is display the total
of the number of unique properties in the report footer, not just a count of
the number of records. I have experimented with grouping on the property
field and using running sums but to no avail. I have also tried to...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
