Hi Experts!
I have several forms and reports where controls get their values with
'Forms!MainForm!Control' or 'Forms!MainForm!Subform!Control' resp
'Forms!MainForm!Subform.Form!Control' which works without any problem
in Acc97, 2000 and 2002, but now in Access 2003 there seem to be a
problem with this.
A user is working with my app, and he uses an Access 2002 MDE in an
Access 2003 environment.

Someone is trying to run my Access 2002 database under Access 2003. He
has had a number of problems:
1) i used the MSComCt2.ocx for it's Date and Time picker. I can't find
it under 2003. Do I need to send it to them?
2) I have a function to fill a table with values, that store the page
and column numbers of a display of staff members. I had him check the
link to Microsoft DAO 3.6 Object Library under references, but it

I developed an Access 2003 program that will allow the user to produce
a group of Word letters that merge with data records from an Access
database.
I created a mail merge Word document and associated it with a specific
query in my Access database.
My problem is that when I run my "create letters" button from an Access
form, the program opens up Word correctly with the proper letter.
However, the MailMerge toolbar in Word appears...

Hi All,

recommend any changes but when I convert the database to access 97
format, it opens fine on my machine (with the usual convert or open
message) but refuses to open on anyone elses PC with Access 97. A
message pops up saying that the code needs to be recompiled for the

Dear All,
Yesterday, one of my students had a problem using MS Access 2003. Whilst editing a report in design view, using the Sorting and Grouping option, if they changed the Group Footer option to Yes, it locked out all the other options, which simply did not respond when clicked on. If the same person open the same database in MS Access 2000, on the same machine, it allowed the changes straight away. On then opening the same file back in...

Hi,
I'm not 100% sure that this is an Access problem. A friend of mine has
an Access 2003 database. Occasionally he brings a copy to me so that I
can import some of his data into my Access 2003 database. For years he
has done this with no problems by bringing his copy on a CD.
However, last week he put his database onto a memory stick and brought
it to me. When I try to open the database, I get the error "The Visual
Basic for...

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
