C#, Asp.Net 2.0, Windows 2000 Server
Problem
I'm trying to enumerate all the names in the global contacts on the exchange
server using CDO / ADO / (whatever I can).
In writing an ASP.Net support ticket application, I want to populate the
list of "Who reported this ticket" with names from the global contacts.
An extension of this would then be to allow the user to add a person to the

Hey all,
I finally found the necessary resources in the Exchange 2003 SDK to "pull"
Contacts out of Exchange and display them on a WebForm. I have been trying
to do this forever, and couldn't until the Exchange 2003 SDK came out.
Here's the code. Hopefully someone else can find this useful.
#region DisplayExchangeContacts
private void DisplayExchangeContacts()

We recently upgraded to Exchange2K3/W2K3 from Exchange2K/W2K, and some of my
c# code that I used to access users' contacts using WebDAV has stopped
working. I'm getting a 401 unauthorized error. Hopefully, I can explain this
adequately.
Prior to the upgrade the following code was working properly.
FYI: The site was running in the context of the domain administrator, and
was also using the Administrator account to create a CredentialCache...

Hello,
I'm building an asp.net application that will get contact information from an Access Database that is linked to microsoft exchange or outlook.
I go to link tables in Access and choose outlook() and am able to link to the contacts data base. However, when I run my application locally, I get the error: No MAPI clients installed on this machine. Install a MAPI client such as Outlook. Well, Outlook is installed on the local machine but...

Hello. I have created a 2007 database to help organize a golf outing event which requires the collection and tracking of a lot of linked data. Everything in my dbase is linked to my Main Business Contacts table which consists of 600 businesses who participate in and sponsor our event (primary key is BusID). From these 600 records I have linked tables consisting of 1) different office locations, 2) individual contacts within those office...

hi everyone,
i hope you might help me on this one. i need to create a contact in a
exchange public folder using dotnet (vb or c#) and exchange 2003, without
using outlook object model. i'm searching for a few hours and can't find a
clear example on how to do it. i've already seen code blocks using webdav,
directory services, but always related with creating active directory users
or mail enabling users, not exactly what i'm looking for....

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
