Report - Output to Snapshot ... then Email as Attachment using Outlook Express !

Hi !! I have been browsing around but have not been able to find a
simple, lucid solution ... or maybe I'm just too confused. I know this
has been asked before by many ... but pls bear with me.

Step 1:
I want to place a button which outputs my report as a snapshot to a
specific folder. What is he VBA code to acomplish this ?

Step2:
I want to place a button which emails the above generated report using
outlook express as an attachment. What is he VBA code to acomplish
this ?

Step 3:
I want to place a button which does both the above in a single step
i.e. outputs the report as a snapshot to a designated folder & then
emails it as an attachment using Outlook Express. What is he VBA code
to acomplish this ?

Thx & Best Rgds,
Prakash.

Hello..I'm not a guru on VB, but I think I cud [minorly] help you with
the emailing. But first I need to ask you if you need to email a
folder, and not a report. Because if you're mailing a report, then
there a way to do it with the command button wizard. Just create a
button, and when the wizard pops up, do: Report operations, then Mail
report..then choose the report to send.
Thats easy enough, and I suppose maybe u already knew that[?]. Sorry I
couldnt be more of a help.
help this helps.

There is built in functionality for exporting a report to a file
(DoCmd.OuputTo) .

There is built in functionality for emailing a report (DoCmd.SendObje ct)

There is nothing built in that would let you create an Email with an external
file as an attachment. For that you would have to use automation to manipulate
an external messaging library like CDO, MAPI, or Outlook.
