Need help with Inserting/embedding functionality

PJ
Hi All,

I am trying to embed one or more excel spreadsheet into my database. I
want to do this be say, clicking a button on a form and selecting the
names of files from a selection window. I will be storing the
names/links of the selected files in a separate table with multi-one
relationship with the underlying form table.

Can someone please help?

I will greatly appreciate it.

Might be easier to leave the spreadsheets external to your database and
just store the path/filename in a table then open them with the press of
a button.

Here goes: I have a web form with several asp:dropdownlists, with which, when selection is changed I want to fire an event defined in some clientside js. The content of the clientside code is dependant on data collected in the code behind on the server. Hello everyone. I was wondering if there was anyway to put some assembally into C source code so that the assembally would be evaluated exactly as it was written. I'm looking for some sort of standard function or feature here so I am relitively sure that I am on topic (I know some people that read this news group can be slightly brutal about off topic posts). Anyways I'm just looking for a way to put a bit of assembally into my code to...

Hi All, I have a C# ASP.NET page that submits back to itself to insert details from a form into a database table. When / if the user refreshes the page (and gets the standard warning that POST data will be resubmitted), the previously submitted record is sumbitted again, and a duplicate record is inserted into the table. In PHP I would have avoided this by submitting the form to a processing page, which would then automatically...

Folks: I want to embark on a project to add Python (actually, wxPython or PythonWin) to a new Windows app I want to start writing soon. Essentially, I want to take VB6 (or pos Delphi) and construct the app framework/core functionality using one of those languages, then extend the app w/ Python, the same way one can extend the MS Office apps using VBA. The core Python docs provide the fundamental info one needs to get started. But, I've...

Hi, I'm using axChartSpace functionality in owc11.dll from microsoft. Is there a way to embed this dll into the program - is it legal? (I guess not). If I run my program from a location on my computer where the dll is not present, the program wont run even though the MS Office is installed. If I don't want to use the publish functionality, is there another way to embed the dll into the program.

I have a file called email2.asp which I am using to mail data obtained from a SQL query. I would like to pass the holiday_ID value in the querystring attached to the end of the URL. It all works except that I can't get the value of holiday_ID included as a querystring. As a test I can insert a value after the ?id= and this is passed as a querystring. I am sure it's just the syntax that I am having problem with

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
