Display automatic update field on a form without being able to edit

I have created an automatic update field in my Vendor_Table that
automatically updates the date in that field to respond to any changes
made to the record. However, I would like to display this information
on my Vendor_Form.

I would like to display the information contained in that field
pertaining to whichever record is shown without the user being able to
edit this information.

Does anyone know how I would go about doing this? (PS I am not an
expert at Access)
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Using WinXP & AccessXP, I'd like to automatically have the records that I've just printed in a report automatically updated to have the 'print date & time' immediately inserted into a 'Date/Time' field in the table of all of the 'just printed' records. The crude way would be to run an Update Query immediately before or immediately after printing on those records in the report, but how would I have this done automatically when hitting the...

Hello there, I am thinking how to solve another typical problem of online systems with combination of thin client... Imagine simple case, 2 users are going to edit 'same' datas. Both see on the 'screen' the same, after they started edit them. First one changes datas and submit changes (sucessfully). Database (set tables - inserts/updates/deleting) was changed. At this point, datas which second user is watching are not valid anymore. They...

I am trying to create a form for a MySQL database similar to a spreadsheet. The idea is to display a list of records, with the last line of the list being an input form. When the user enters data in the form and hits the submit button, the data is entered and the form is reloaded with the new data displayed and another input form becomes the last line. Example --- Before entering new data

Hi All, I'm having a problem with the following code. I've read quite a lot of old posts regarding the issue but none seem to affer a solution. The scenario is. I have a bound form which contains a couple of memo fields. I need to keep some sort of log as to when each update of the memo field occurs so I have locked bot the memo fields on the main form. To edit them, the user double clicks the ememo field which then opens an unbound...

My database has 2 tables: Table1 & Table2. If a field is not null on a record in table2, then the not null fields in table1 that correspond to the records in table1 needs to be updated to match the field in table2. What I have is a form that is linked to Table2. If the users want to change a field in the main database (table1), they fill the change in to the form (which is linked to table2) If there is no change to the field, they simply...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...
