Stachu,
A database is an electronic means to store data. Things get much more
interesting and complicated from there. I don't speak or write Polish and
your English isn't very good. But try being more specific about what your
database is for and I'll try to be more helpful.

I am so mad at microsoft right now! They just told me - 10 days after I placed my order for an upgrade to Office 2003 Pro - that they canceled the order because the credit card info didn't match the shipping info. (It did match, unless I made an error entering the credit card number on line! But they had my phone number, and email address, so 10 days is no excuse.) Now I am in a bind, and so asking for help. Is there any program that...

Long, long ago when Access 97 first hit the streets a sample database called Northwind was shipped with it. At that time a number of articles had been posted on the correct procedure to remove all the sample data. Does anyone out there still have this information?

hi guys, Currently converting an old classic asp system to a OOP asp.net application. We are building the new application using a 3 tier arcitecture and i was wondering about the following. I have a parent class, that when inserted, inserts a few child classes into the database, based on other classes. In the old system, this is wrote as one big SQL script, with many inserts and updates because the system was not wrote as OOP.

I've tried googling for the answer to my question, so my apologies if it's been asked before or is terribly obvious. I'm a volunteer doing data entry for research. My office has an Access database with several hundred fields that was put together by someone who no longer works here. While using this database, I've noticed that it's missing a number of fields that we need. I told the Dr. I'm working for and encouraged her to seek the...

To help you understand the answer to this question I've provided the following as a quick example of how to retrieve data from a database. In order to connect to a SQL Server Database using .NET you will need to import the System.Data.SqlClient package into your program. If you are not connecting to a...

I have an ASP file that retrieves names from an Access database for 4 different categories of membership, which the visitor to the page selects (corporate, institutional, regular, or student). The DNS name is "cati", the names are specified in the "Last_names" field, and the categories are in the "categories" field. l want the results sorted in alphabetic order by last name. However, the results appear to be in a totally random,...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
