you must specify the name the macro's macro group was last saved under

After converting Access 97 databases to 2003 this error msg shows up
after a line about not being able to save the record because a related
record is needed in another table. The complete msg is:

The macro "." (or its macro group) doesn't exist, or the macro is new
but hasn't been saved. Note that when you enter the
macrogroupname. macroname syntax in an argument, you must specify the
name the macro's macro group was last saved under. The database
compiles fine and doesn't generate any errros on conversion but they
all seem to have the same problem, each time related to data in a
subform.

It doesn't make any sense since there is no "." module in my code.
This is definitely a conversion issue because the same exact databases
worked fine in their 97 formats. Please help.

I use a complied query to export to Excel like this: SELECT * INTO . FROM tblExcelData; But I have a situation where I need to export several tables into the same worksheet. The idea is to have each contiguous block of data on the worksheet separated by 50 or so rows so a graph can be inserted between each set of data.

Although some users find Macros simple and easy to use, there are some major limitations to using them. Although you can use macros to perform tasks, there is limited control on when and how those tasks should be performed, and setting conditions can be difficult. There is however, another even stronger reason not to use macros and that is that...
